SNOW! *dances* Yays!
This morning we had to go out and when we got back, as we got out of the car, hubby started throwing snowballs at me. All's fair in love and war so I started throwing some back and it descended into a mad scene involving much silliness and hysterical giggling. Most of the hysterical giggling came from Nenyaling, it has to be said, who doesn't remember when we last had snow (since she was only a baby) and thinks it's AMAZING stuff. Every time hubby and I stopped throwing snowballs this little giggling thing at knee level would gleefully shout "MORE, PLEASE!" *rofl* Hubby was aiming for the top of my head and I was aiming for the back of his neck and we fell through the front door at last hardly able to breathe we were laughing so hard. XD
[ETA - peeps have been sending in their 'we woke up to snow this morning' pics to the BBC. You can see them here. Look out for the snowman in front of The Thames and opposite the Houses of Parliament, and the two people in swimsuits considering going for a swim on a snow-covered beach. 0_o ]
Meanwhile:
Amount of Penny ficcage written: several pages which I've decided I might re-do ('decided' AND 'might'? Hmm, decisive as ever, I note :P), but I know where I'm at, so huzzah.
Amount of Blackadder icons made: 22 (Yeah,When I did the Blackadder III ones, I said I would do more from the other series? Well, I'm doing Blackadder II this time round). Ones done so far include "Bedridden from the nose down", "You mean rumpy pumpy?", "I'm Merlin the Happy PIG!" and "The weakest practical joke since Cardinal Wolsey got his knob out at Hampton Court and stood at the end of the passage pretending to be a door." *snerk* I'm also trying to remember to save some of the bases this time, cos I always forget (or save text over the top of them, cos I is an idiot), and will post those if anyone wants them (on LJ - probably too complicated to do it on here). Since the last batch of Blackdder quote icons I did I've joined a couple of LJ-comms that do brushes for GIMP so I'm really rather pleased with some of these bases in their own right even if I do say so myself. *grins*
